Anyone who still has not yet submitted their surveys, please do so as soon as possible. We need your input and participation in this important endeavor.

NEEDED: Member’s feedback on the possible labour market agreement

ONESTEP is in the process of preparing a position paper on this matter and we want your thoughts. We believe that it is very likely that there will be some kind of agreement with the Province over the next while. We want to influence both the process and the final outcome of the implementation of the agreement.

We have prepared these questions and want to hear from ONESTEP members.

Shortages exist for: millwrights, pipe fitters machinists, bricklayers, electricians and drywall installers. In Toronto, the International Association of Machinists are Aerospace Workers finds that half of their members are in the mid-fifties. (Globe & Mail: Sept. 15/03; Toronto Star: Aug. 29/03)
