ONESTEP Launches Job Developer Resource Kit
The Job Developer Resource Kit is now completed. This toolkit is full of
resources to help you as an organization better serve your clients. We will be
mailing copies to each member organization starting on Monday June 27.
The Southeast Regional meeting will take place on September 7th at the YEAH
in Brockville.
The ONESTEP AGM will take place on September 22 at 1:00p.m. Location to be
announced.

This year is the 7th annual Opportunities conference. Last year was the most
successful year yet with over 800 participants. We anticipate a similar response
this year.
The Southwest Regional Meeting will take place this September 16th in London.
If you register before August 4th you will get the special Super
Saver rate of only $220. This also entitles you to an exclusive 10 day period to
book sessions before they are opened to the other registrants.

New Directives for Contribution Agreement-HRSDC
This report begins with some background information on measures that HRSDC
has introduced to enhance the administration, management and accountability of
contribution programs. This is followed by a discussion of the key issues that
surfaced during committee hearings. The issues include the implementation of the
four national directives, the call-for-proposals process, the selection
criteria, the administrative burden, the duration of funding, accountability for
program results, and HRSDC’s management and personnel.
