The aim of this study was to provide up-to-date information on the CBET sector's human resources that will assist in HR planning, strengthen the sector's ability to meet community needs, and help further a positive and vibrant partnership between the sector and its funders and policy makers from all three levels of government.

Strengthening the Labour Force Development System in Ontario

The main goal of the paper was to articulate ONESTEP's views in the event of a labour market agreement between the Government of Canada and the Province of Ontario.

The paper describes in some detail the Ontario labour market today and the role that CBTs have played in the labour force over the last number of decades. It also discusses the importance of the Federal government in the planning, policy development and direct funding of labour force development initiatives in Ontario.

The present study was conducted to gather actual benchmarking data in order to compare the results obtained with the targets set out in the provisional benchmarks. This document presents findings and recommended benchmarks for the following performance indicators: Employment Outcome Measures; Client-Focused Outcome Measures; and Employer-Focused Outcome Measures.
